Seven routes seeing either increased or adjusted service times since MiWay Service Changes are now in affect
Service changes announced by Mississauga MiWay Transit that began on February 24th bring more frequent service to certain routes and adjust others to better align with GO train schedules.
Customers using routes 11 Westwood, 61 Mavis, 66 McLaughlin and 107 Malton will now see increased frequency.
11 Westwood: This route will have more frequent service on weekdays during the morning peak, midday and evening peak periods.
- Morning peak: From every 15 minutes to every 13 minutes.
- Midday: From every 22 minutes to every 18 minutes.
- Evening peak: From every 17 minutes to every 15 minutes.
61 Mavis: This route will have more frequent service on weekdays during the midday and evening peak periods.
- Midday: from every 16 minutes to every 14 minutes.
- Evening peak: from every 12 minutes to every 11 minutes.
66 McLaughlin: This route will offer more frequent weekday morning service, increased Saturday midday trips, and extended Sunday service until 1 AM.
- Morning peak: from every 11 minutes to every 8 minutes.
- Saturday midday: from every 17 minutes to every 14 minutes.
107 Malton Express: This route will have more frequent service on weekdays during the morning peak, midday and evening peak periods.
- Morning peak: from every 17 minutes to every 14 minutes.
- Midday: from every 24 minutes to every 22 minutes.
To support the connections to Cooksville GO, Streetsville Go and Malton GO train service, MiWay is adjusting the schedules. The schedules of the 28 Confederation bus, the 30 Rexdale and the 49A McDowell are:
- 28 Confederation: additional trip has been added, arriving at Cooksville GO Station at 5:19 pm to connect with all afternoon Milton Line GO train departures.
- 30 Rexdale: MiWay added an additional trip arriving at Malton GO at 6:19 AM to maintain connections to Kitchener Line trains.
- 49A McDowell: MiWay has added another trip that departs Streetsville GO at 5:28 PM, connecting with Milton Line GO trains.
Please consider the new schedules, as the MiWay service changes are already in effect.
